I am currently reading “Shakespeare” by David Deida. The book is a great read, filled with the best advice and stories from a true craftsman. I am a big fan of David Deida because he is not afraid to use humor to encourage and remind us that sometimes we just need to stop and think.
I’ve read a lot of Shakespeare lately, and I have to say that the book is filled with some great advice that, at times, will seem a bit obvious. Like the time that “Othello” is talking about his love’s infidelity with Desdemona. It’s almost like Deida’s going through the same thing, telling us that we are to be “nice” to our spouses, because the way love works is to be kind and forgiving.
