Just as the fish doesn’t need to know if he is in a net or the water, a fishing pole does, and a bent fishing rod is a good indication a person has not been paying attention. I like the idea that “being bent” is a good indicator of our level of self-awareness.
The same goes for the way we think, the way we act, and the way we feel. The things we say and do in life can be a good indicator of our level of self-awareness, but the reality is that we don’t always know what to say or do. We might be aware of ourselves, but we might not be aware of our surroundings.
I think that being aware of our surroundings is important, but awareness is not the same as knowing. We only know what we know in the moment, and we only know what we know now. The more we know, the more we know what we know in the moment, and the more we know what we know now, the more we know how we feel in our current moment.
This simple analogy captures what I mean by “awareness.” We don’t always know what we know, and we might not always know our surroundings the same way. In fact, there is a very real sense in which the two are not exactly the same. For example, I am aware of my surroundings, but what I am aware of myself is of nothing more than the sensation of feeling the world around me at my current moment.
This last point is a very good example of how the two are not quite the same. For one thing, I am aware of myself, but I am aware of my surroundings. For another, I am aware of myself, but I am aware of my surroundings as a whole. It is like the difference between feeling the sensations of a stick when I am standing upright and when I am sitting down. It is kind of like saying “I’m aware of myself and my surroundings as a whole.
It’s really interesting to think that even though I can feel my own body, I can also feel its surroundings. The fact is that when I am aware of myself, I can also feel how the world around me feels. This is especially true when I am aware of myself, but I am aware of my surroundings as a whole. This suggests to me that my sense of self is not a wholly separate thing from my sense of the world.
I think that’s probably true and that I am aware of my surroundings as a whole just in a very subtle way. I am also aware of my body, so I am definitely aware of the environment around me, but I am not aware of my body. I am aware of my surroundings in general, but I am not aware of my physical body.
It is this awareness of the whole that is the true self, because it is the part of me that is aware of my body but not my physical body. In my mind, I can still recognize this self in a very subtle way, but it is still not wholly different than my other thoughts. It is only when I get in touch with the other parts of my mind that I can recognize it.
That’s right, if you ask me, I still have a fishing rod. I use it like a walking stick, and it has the same effect on me as it does on the fish.
I think it is a little unfair to expect people to not know that fishing is not as much about just getting your hook in as it is about getting it out. When I use it, I am trying to trap as much life as I can out of it. I use it like a spear, and it pierces the water in all different directions.
